Hirschler returning from World War II in 1945, settling in Richmond, Virginia and creating a law firm. Their entrepreneurial
vision, dedication and shared work ethic are chronicled in the book, which details the firm's history from 1946-2006. Thoughtful
stories from partners and clients of their time with the firm, as well as commentary on economic and other factors that shaped the
firm's culture over time, are included in the book.
Ms. Theobald is a free-lance writer specializing in history, travel, and business topics. She has written more than one hundred
fifty articles for a variety of magazines and newspapers, most regularly for the Colonial Williamsburg Journal and Virginia
Living, where she is a contributing editor. Hirschler Fleischer is her sixth non-fiction book.

HIRSCHLER FLEISCHER ADDS TWO TO LITIGATION SECTION

Richmond, Va., June 19, 2007 -- Hirschler Fleischer announced today that Luder F. Milton and Jason T. Jacoby have joined the
firm's litigation section.
As an associate in the litigation section, Luder F. Milton will handle a broad range of commercial litigation matters. Luder has
extensive arbitration, jury and trial experience and is admitted to practice in all Federal courts within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Luder received his B.A. from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and his J.D. from the Washington & Lee University School of Law.
Prior to joining Hirschler Fleischer, Luder practiced with a local boutique litigation firm and has published an article on
environmental matters. Luder is actively involved in the Richmond Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar and the Steering Committee
of the Virginia Chapter of the Federalist Society. Prior to law school, Luder spent two years in Costa Rica as a missionary and is
fluent in Spanish.
As an associate in the litigation section, Jason T. Jacoby will represent clients in jury trials, bench trials and arbitration hearings,
as well as regulatory and administrative hearings in both federal and state courts across Virginia. Jason will also represent clients
before attorneys general and in other government enforcement matters across the country. Jason received his J.D. from the University

Richmond, Va., April 24, 2007 -- Hirschler Fleischer, a full-service law firm headquartered in Richmond, VA with offices in
Fredericksburg, is proud to announce that Charles W. Payne, Jr. has been appointed to the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation's Board of Trustees.
Mr. Payne will be one of the local affiliates who will be fundraising for the many programs the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation is planning for
the Fredericksburg area, which will include baseball and softball equipment grants, coaches' clinics and other activities to
youth-serving organizations throughout the city, and the construction of new ball fields for local youth participation or renovation of
current fields in the Fredericksburg area.
On a National level, the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, works to create baseball and softball programs
and facilities that positively impact our youth, including especially our disadvantaged youth by combining the principles represented by
the Ripken name, the reach of Cal Ripken, Jr. as a modern day hero, and the universal appeal of baseball.
Charlie Payne, along with other trustees in the area, will be working to ensure that each of the Foundation's goals will be met. In order
to do so, Mr. Payne is helping to organize the committee responsible for raising annually the estimated $500,000 to $700,000 the
Foundation will need in order to implement the "Ripken Way" programs in the Fredericksburg area and will further assist the Foundation in
raising over $2 million dollars over the next five (5) years to construct new youth baseball and softball fields or renovate current
baseball and softball fields in the Fredericksburg area.
In a recent meeting of the trustees, Cal Ripken, Jr. said of his partnership with the Fredericksburg area, "An opportunity like this, to reach out into another community, a community that really cares about their kids, and try to do something good for them, becomes a model for other communities."

Robert G. Boyle is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate section where his practice focuses on commercial real estate acquisition,
development, financing and leasing. Robert assists clients with the purchase and sale of developed and undeveloped real estate, the
negotiation of related real estate financings, commercial leasing projects and development related work. Robert has significant
experience representing participants in all facets of sale-leaseback and bond lease financing. In addition, he has assisted several
large government entities with their real estate transactions and has extensive background in real estate law. Rob obtained his J.D.
from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Richmond.
David S. Lionberger is a member of the Firm’s Business section where his practice includes taxation, trusts and estates, business,
intellectual property and entertainment law. David’s practice focuses primarily on privately held companies, with respect to federal,
state and local taxation issues including owner, business and estate planning; executive compensation; and merger, acquisition and divestiture issues. He also assists his clients with intellectual property matters. David has authored numerous articles for various publications and journals and regularly speaks at business presentations and legal seminars. David also serves as a Board member for the University of Virginia Athletics Foundation, sits on the Board of the Richmond Kiwanis Club and Connor’s Heroes Foundation and serves on the Special Olympics Virginia Summer Games and Summer Golf Classic event committees. David received his J.D. from Washington & Lee University, obtained his L.L. M. in Taxation from New York University and his B.A. from the University of Virginia.
Andrew M. Lohmann is a member of the Firm’s Business section. His practice focuses primarily on the legal needs of closely-held
businesses. In this regard, Andrew has experience in a wide range of legal areas including mergers and acquisitions, general corporate
and commercial law, franchise law, employment law, business formation, real estate and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs). Andrew
has counseled and assisted clients in the acquisition or sale of closely-held businesses, routinely negotiated a wide-spectrum of
commercial contracts and provides ongoing general representation for clients in various industries including technology, manufacturing
and construction. Andrew received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.A. from The University of North

Carrie Hallberg O’Malley is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate Section practicing from the Firm’s Fredericksburg office. During her
career at Hirschler Fleischer, Carrie has been involved in complicated real estate contract negotiations, acquisitions, sales,
refinancings, loan pool purchases, commercial leasing matters, complex title insurance underwriting matters and liquor license legal
matters. Carrie received her B.S.B.A. from the E. Claiborne Robbins School of Business at the University of Richmond and her J.D. from
the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. As part of a joint degree program Carrie also earned her Masters in
Business Administration from the Richard S. Reynolds Graduate School of Business at the University of Richmond after only three years of
study. Carrie is the co-author of a chapter and several subchapters of the Virginia CLE Handbook titled Contract Law in Virginia.
Eric C. Perkins rejoined the Firm as a member of the Business Section and the Real Estate Securities Practice Group after serving as the
Chief Legal Officer for a national real estate investment and management company where he oversaw the company’s tenant-in-common
offerings, acquisitions and business transactions. At the Firm, Eric focuses on real estate securities offerings, franchising, and
tax-exempt organizations. He has assisted real estate sponsors in raising over $800 million in Regulation D private offerings and
specializes in advising entrepreneurs on franchising matters and related business issues. Eric is an author and lecturer on a variety of
securities and business law topics, including co-author of a Virginia CLE handbook titled Contract Law in Virginia. Eric received both
his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Virginia.
R. Carter Scott is a member of the Firm’s Business section where his practice focuses on corporate and securities law matters, including
the formation and capitalization of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. He regularly deals with issues of state
corporate and partnership law, federal and state securities laws and regulations, and federal tax laws affecting various forms of
business organizations. His work with emerging business includes private placements, venture capital and mergers and acquisitions. He
has assisted with the formation and operation of two venture capital funds and represents both public and private corporations. Carter
is the former Director of the Greater Richmond Technology Council and the Virginia Biotechnology Association. Carter also is the past
president of the Sheltering Arms Rehabilitation Hospital and a current Member of the Virginia Biotechnology Association. Carter
received his B.A. from the University of Virginia, his L.L.B. from the University of Richmond School of Law and his L.L.M. from New York
University.
Jeffrey C. Meyer is an associate in the Firm’s Real Estate section, where his practice involves the sale, acquisition, leasing and
financing of commercial real estate. Jeffrey received his B.B.A. in Finance from James Madison University and his J.D. from the T.C.
Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond where he was a member of the Richmond Law Review.
Andrew P. Sherrod is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation section where his practice encompasses a variety of civil and commercial
matters in state and federal courts. Andrew has experience counseling clients and litigating cases involving employment disputes, breach
of contract, business torts and real property issues. In addition, Andrew has experience defending life, health and disability insurance
