HIRSCHLER FLEISCHER RECEIVES WOMEN BUSINESS OWNER AWARD

Richmond, Va., May 14, 2008 -- The Richmond Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owner's (NAWBO) declared Hirschler Fleischer the organization's Corporate Partner of the Year for 2008 yesterday.

NAWBO is an international organization of more than 8,000 women entrepreneurs whose goal is to propel its members into economic, social and political spheres of power worldwide. Membership is open to women in any type of industry from construction, importers and retailers to service providers.

HIRSCHLER FLEISCHER ADDS TO LITIGATION TEAM

Richmond, Va., May 7, 2008 -- Hirschler Fleischer, PC announced today that W. Brian McCann has joined the firm’s litigation section.

As an associate in the litigation section, Brian will handle a broad range of commercial litigation matters including personal injury, wrongful death, contract, property and business disputes. He received his B.A. from the College of William and Mary and his J.D. from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary. While pursuing his J.D., Brian was a member of the William and Mary Moot Court Team, the William and Mary Law Review, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.

Prior to joining Hirschler Fleischer, Brian practiced with for several years with a Richmond firm, where he tried several cases, both bench and jury trials in General District and Circuit Courts throughout Virginia.

Brian is a member of the Richmond Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar, Virginia Bar Association and is the chairman of two committees of the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Virginia Bar Association. While not at the office, Brian is involved with the Virginia Home for Boys and Girls.

Jennifer M. Becker is an associate in the business section, where she works on a broad range of general business and corporate matters. Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 2007. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Government from The College of William and Mary in 2004. While in law school, Jennifer pursued her interest in civic and community service activities with the Student Bar Association Community Service Committee and the Corella & Bertram F. Broderick C. Dunn is an associate in the firm's litigation section where he works on a range of civil and commercial disputes. Stacie C. Bordick is an associate in the firm's business section, where she handles various business and corporate matters. Before joining Hirschler Fleischer, Stacie served as a law clerk for the Honorable Michael F. Urbanski, United States Magistrate Judge for the Western District of Virginia, Roanoke division and as a Pro Se Law clerk for the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia. Stacie graduated from the College of William and Mary with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and Chemistry in 1999 and received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2004. While in law school, Stacie served as an editor of the Dayton Law Review and as a Teaching Assistant. Annual Event Supports Central Virginia Foodbank and Boys and Girls Clubs

The Community Kitchen’s aim is to serve up to 10,000 meals daily in area Kids' Cafes and seniors' congregate settings and provide almost 3,000 home-delivered meals daily through Meals on Wheels serving Central Virginia. “Hirschler Fleischer has served Central Virginia for over 60 years and is pleased to support Feed The Kids, “ said Michael H. EDWARD S. HIRSCHLER MEMORIAL SEMINAR SLATED FOR SEPTEMBER
Firm Partners with Richmond Jewish Foundation to Offer Legal and Financial Program for Professionals

Richmond, Va., September 10, 2007 -- -- On September 20, 2007, Hirschler Fleischer, in cooperation with the Richmond Jewish Foundation, will present the Second Annual Edward S. Hirschler Memorial Professional Advisors Seminar.

Shortly after Edward Hirschler's death, the Richmond-based law firm he co-founded, Hirschler Fleischer, established the Edward S. Hirschler Memorial Charitable Endowment Fund through the Richmond Jewish Foundation. The Edward S. Hirschler Memorial Charitable Endowment Fund provides an annual seminar to enhance educational opportunities relating to charitable giving and estate planning for legal and financial professionals.

This year's seminar will focus on family and charitable planning with retirement accounts. Chris Hoyt, a nationally recognized speaker and professor of law, will be the guest speaker. The seminar will be held at the Richmond Jewish Foundation, which is located at 5403 Monument Avenue.
